I am an artist and composer who created a home in advertising as a director and photographer.
I believe life can be magical when you put human connection and improvisation into play.
I make spirited, human-centric content for the world’s most beloved brands. I love to create an electric experience on set and include everyone from PAs to clients. This way the group feels ownership and the work shines. I approach production with thoughtful structure and room for a healthy dose of "what if??" so the work has real-life sparkle.
Recent projects: BMW Super Bowl, Lego, Merck, Autodesk, XFinity, Castrol / Nascar, McDonalds, Alfa Romeo, Comcast, and Samsung. For ViiV healthcare's PrEP, I was asked to direct a vibrant national dance campaign of 12 commercials and 24 stills. It was shot in a single day on an integrated set with a fantastic playlist.
To fire up my spirit, I like to get into water, into the mountains, and compose music.
I give back by mentoring. I've spoken at OFFF Festival and UCLA, and delivered the graduation commencement address for UCBS's Art Studio department. I focus on identifying one's superpowers and how we can create powerful identity around our gifts. As well as identifying the consequences of having gifts.
I facilitate highly energized workshops on the topic including a 16-week program for the students at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
